Jet Global Data Technologies has been acquired by Insightsoftware

At the beginning of this month,  Insightsoftware, world leader in financial reporting tools, has acquired Jet Global Data Technologies.

Jet Global was founded in 2002 and since then is a company dedicated to delivery of tools for analysis, reporting and budgeting for Microsoft Dynamics products, and it is leader in this area.

Its products are sold  through a  partner’s network, and as we speak there are over 14 ooo customers from 94 countries. Kepler Management Systems is also a partner, providing to its customers  Jet Reports – for the ERP system Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision).

Jet Report is a flexible instrument for analysis and reporting which allows direct connection to the database and data display in a very user-friendly environment – Excel. The ERP systems are powerful regarding transactions entering and business rules enforcing, but they are not as powerful for reporting; that’s why a reporting tool like Jet Reports is more than welcome.

Insightsoftware is a global leader in reporting tools for ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) and it has  various products: Atlas for Dynamics, Excel4Apps, Hubble, Spreadsheet Server, CXO Software.

Jet Global acquisition will improve Insightsoftware’s product portfolio, especially in the are of financial reporting tools in Excel, where Jet Global has a significant experience. For customers and partners, this purchase is  good news, because the joined capabilities of both companies for sure will provide better products.
